Jason M. Tangeman: Jason attended the University of Wyoming, receiving his B.S. in 1991 and his J.D. in 1996. Jason M. TangemanWhile attending law school Jason was an editor and published member of the Land & Water Law Review. Following law school he worked in the Wyoming Public Defender’s Office. As a public defender Jason tried major felony cases and argued appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court. Currently, his practice focuses on civil litigation and criminal defense. He is a member of the Colorado and Wyoming Bar Associations, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and a Board Member of the Wyoming Trial Lawyer Association. Jason is a past President, Vice-President and Secretary for the Albany County Bar Association. Jason was defense counsel in State v. Robinson a high profile murder trial, and the Matthew Shepard murder trial which gained national attention, both of which were tried in Laramie, Wyoming.
